Music for Anxiety by Essence (the site) is run by Essence (we, us). You can reach us at hello@youressence.app. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Free listening
Every session and frequency can be played free for 5 minutes at a time, as often as you like, without an account.
The one-time unlock
The unlock is a single payment, at the price shown before checkout, processed by Stripe. It gives you personal access to the unlocked features (longer sessions, binaural versions and frequency stacks) on your own devices, for as long as we run the site. Features marked "coming soon" are included when they launch, but we cannot promise a date. We may improve, change or add features over time.
Your unlock is stored in your browser. On a new device, use Restore a purchase with the email you paid with.
Using the audio and content
The audio, text and design are ours. You may listen to them for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not resell, share or publish them, and do not try to get around the unlock.
Not medical advice
The sounds, frequencies and affirmations here are for relaxation and reflection. They are not medical advice and not a treatment for anxiety or any other condition. The meanings given for each frequency are traditional ones and are not scientifically established. If anxiety feels unmanageable, talk to a doctor or therapist. In a crisis in the US, call or text 988.
Listen at a comfortable volume. Do not use sleep sessions or binaural versions while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.
Refunds
See our refund policy. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase.
No warranty
We work to keep the site running and helpful, but we provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date below. If you keep using the site after an update, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
